The Supervisor will be responsible for supervising agroup of employees. He/She will be responsible for ensuring that processcontrols are in place to meet all corporate standards and for preventing theoutflow of defects from the process. The Quality Supervisor is responsible forcreating, implementing and sustaining vehicle control plans to prevent theoutflow of defects to the customer. The Quality Supervisor must be a creativeproblem solver, proactive and steadfast in the identification and resolution ofvehicle quality issues. The candidate must have a proven track record fordeveloping and executing standardization. The Quality Supervisor should haveproven experience in both supplier and quality areas. The candidate will have abroad knowledge of the entire automotive engineering, manufacturing, testingand quality landscape. The successful candidate must possess outstandingteamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilitiesinclude but not limited to:

·Manageday to day quality control and quality inspection activities to the assignedarea(s)

·Dailyauditing across all shifts to hold Team Members and Team Leaders accountable upto and including issuing discipline as required.

·Directthe workforce to follow government regulations and all applicable MQGR andLevel 1 standards.

·Documentconditions found and identify opportunities for process improvement.

·Communicateresults to quality and plant management.

·Provideexpert technical leadership & directing cross functional teams in theapplication of quality initiatives.

·Developand enhance PPR & audit checklists over time.

·Performprocess audits based on internal and external quality indicators, leveragingstandard checklists questions - audit the entire system a minimum of threetimes per year (3,679 questions for 39 processes) 

·Reportmonthly process conformity scorecard for the Plant.

·Achievetimely completion of containment corrective actions (Performance actionnotices) Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and utilize problem solvingtools in day-to-day operations to drive issue resolution.

·Providetechnical liaison support between Engineering, Quality, Production and ProductDesign departments.

·Documentall non-conformance conditions found and identify and execute opportunities forprocess improvement.

·Demonstratea working knowledge of vehicle audit items.

·Superviseall major aspects of vehicle inspection and analyze data for comparison todaily vehicle audits.

·Supervisethe auditing of new production vehicles to validate quality or identify qualityconcerns.

·Analyzequality data from internal and external indicators to ensure calibration.

Requirements

Requirements:

·Bachelordegree required.

·Two(2) years of experience as a Quality Supervisor required.

·Experienceand working knowledge of computer systems and software with strong knowledge ofMS Office or Google Office.

·Abilityto analyze, synthesize and translate data into visual charts/graphs etc.

·Flexibilityto work on a rotating crew/shift schedule

·Abilityto work overtime as needed.

·Abilityto be flexible to carry out tasks 'outside' of normal roles andresponsibilities

PreferredRequirements:

·Manufacturing/ Assembly Plant experience

·LeadAuditor Certifications and Practical experience

·Supervisoryexperience of hourly personnel

·BasicKnowledge of Statistics

·PreviousLeadership experience is a plus
